1981 280zx Nissan Datsun?

what would be the best engine to put in? some say a chevy v8, others say a skyline engine, others tell me to get a rebuilt inline 6 like stock just mod it.. others tell me to get an s15 engine.. what would be ideal for a 1981 280zx?
