Which Vera Bradley bag should i get: Mailbag or Hipster?

I know I want it in "Hope Garden", but i don't know which bag to get. I need a bag that is spacious but also light weight, so I can lug it around without getting tired. The Mailbag costs $68. The Hipster costs $56. I need this for a trip to North Carolina and D.C. I would be carrying some stuff in it for a plane ride, like pport, snacks, money, ect. Everyone's opinion would be very much appreciated!
