Advice for McCain supporters?
McCain supporters, please do not feel so devestated. I understand you are disappointed, but please do not feel like this is the end of America. I know you have been bombarded with ads about how Obama he is Muslim, his ociations, how he is the most liberal senator, etc. These attempts to tear him down were so extreme because the Republican party doesn't have a leg to stand on its own. Use this time to commit yourself to rebuilding a party you can be proud of. The sky is not falling, you do not have to move to Canada. And if you understand the history of our country and the treatment of Blacks, maybe now looking at their faces and seeing the tears and the disbelief and the pure joy you can finally understand why Michelle Obama felt so proud of her country when Barack was announced as Democratic nominee. Please take some comfort in the fact our country has matured and we can leave our painful past behind to build a better future. Obama is a good man and he will do his best to heal our nation. Remember, he has two young daughters, he has skin in the game and a vested interest in the future of our country. You will see, he is a wonderful man and you have nothing to be afraid of. So my question is, are you going to devote time and/or money to help rebuild the Republican party into something you can be proud of again?
