Are there recent or current conflicts over Antarctica?

Through my research, I haven't found anything to suggest that as of late (2000-present) Antarctica is at the center of geopolitical debate. The Antarctic Treaty was reinstated in 1991, with all countries in agreement and extending the policies on pollution, drilling, and other pertinent environmental issues. Of course, it's feasible that with mainland resources dwindling, we may turn to the Antarctic for answers. But is there any country presently contemplating starting something down at the South Pole?
