Is there anyone who can tell me about an infant having a g-tube?

My daughter was born not breathing and her heart wasn't beating due to lack of oxygen at birth she is a twin her brother came out fine. He came out lly and she was emergency c-section. They are 3 months old now. She has been home a mth and and a half now. She had to be rushed to the Nicu in the next town over where she stayed for a mth and a half. The doctors believe that she has some brain damage from this. As a result she can not swallow and she shakes she has a feeding tube called a g- tube. My question should have been does anyone know if a flap of skin sticking out is normal.
